How to pack for a city break—plus free printable checklist!

It’s not long ’til we go to Paris and like a true Virgo I’ve been planning what to pack.

Between-seasons is so tricky—luckily, as someone who frequently treks up and down the UK, I’ve become skilled at short break packing (if I do say so myself). It’s tempting to take ev-ery-thing but how often do those just-in-case items get used? Less often than you moan about the weight of your suitcase, I’m sure.

The solution is a mini capsule wardrobe i.e. a few pieces that can be combined in different ways, and cute accessories to add a bit of somethin’ somethin’.

City break packing list: the Paris edition!

Tops: New Look shirt | Hush striped jumper | A Question Of jumper | Markus Lupfer jumper

Bottoms: Levi’s jeans | Hush leather skirt | Topshop scalloped skirt | ASOS kick flares

Dresses: M&S denim pinafore | Topshop tie-front dress | M&S striped dress | Carven x La Redoute dress

Coat & shoes: Boden coat | Clarks loafers | Jack Wills leather boots

Accessories: Furla bag | Astley Clarke initial pin | UO hair bow | New Look hat
