Giorgio Armani Sì fragrance review

Giorgio Armani Si perfume review

Giorgio Armani launched Si in 2013 and while I’ve seen it advertised (it’s hard to miss the beauty that is Cate Blanchett) and I like sniffing new scents I’m rarely enticed to stray from my favourites. I recently came home to a beautifully-packaged box and immediately regretted letting this one pass me by until now. In a nutshell: it’s become my go-to perfume.

With notes of blackcurrant nectar, modern chypre and blond wood musk, and touches of freesia and May rose, Si is light and pretty but also strong – a light spritz lasts all day. I especially adore blackcurrant-based perfume and it feels so appropriate at this time of year. I’ve loved Emporio Armani Diamonds for years (let’s be honest, I appreciate anything with Beyoncé associations) but it feels too young for me now. Si, described as “a tribute to modern feminity”, is the perfect fragrance for the grown-up Armani fan.

Giorgio Armani Sì* Eau de Parfum is £39.99+ at Fragrance Direct (RRP £47+). Promo code “FREEDEL40” gets you free delivery on purchases over £40.

Products marked * are samples. All opinions my own. See my ‘About’ page for more.
