Considering how close I lived to Brontë Country for most of my life, I’ve seen surprisingly little of Yorkshire. But you know I love to visit new places so last weekend we were pleased to have the opportunity to spend 48 hours in Meltham, Holmfirth, for the wedding of my fella’s brother and his lovely new bride.
To be honest we spent most of our time partying in a (stunning) converted barn, or at the hotel where the wedding took place–though on our last morning, despite being slightly worse for wear, we made an effort to wander around the village and enjoy breakfast in a cute little café.
Then it was on to Manchester for my 30th birthday party! How was your bank holiday weekend?
